EnneagramThe Enneagram, meaning nine-sided shape or nine writings, is a model of personality that describes nine different ways people view the world. Each worldview leads to a different strategy that we use to gain the love we need. The strategies help us but as we mature they also limit us and narrow our view. The Enneagram helps us identify the motives for our patterns of behaviour and describes a spiritual path of transformation for each worldview. People sometimes worry that models of personality put them in a box. Any well-designed model will not do this but rather help us understand the box that we have put ourselves in. The Enneagram shows us how to build on our strengths and constructively relax the constraints of our personality type. Our unique approach to the Enneagram at Emmaus House involves value and emphasis on the spiritual component of the Enneagram as being of prime importance. This year (January - December 2011) Emmaus House is currently offering a reduction on block bookings of Enneagram workshops - book and pay a deposit for three workshops and benefit from the savings. Please contact the office for more information. For a recommended reading list on the Enneagram, please click here.
